The Johnny Appleseed Metro Park District and the city of Lima celebrated Arbor Day and the nation’s 250th anniversary by planting a buckeye tree at Ottawa Metro Park. The tree symbolizes growth and resilience and will serve as a lasting feature for the community to enjoy.
