A two-vehicle crash occurred on U.S. 30 Wednesday morning between a semi and an electric vehicle. Around 9:25 this morning, a semi-truck traveling eastbound in the left lane on U.S. 30 was struck by a car entering U.S. 30 East from the north. The car failed to stop before merging onto 30 East, and the truck clipped the back end of the car and then flipped on its side and slid into the median.

A woman was transported to the hospital after a crash involving her car and two semis on US 30 Wednesday morning. The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. in the westbound lane of 30 and Leatherwood Road. According to the American Township Fire Department, a woman was taken to St. Rita's with non-life-threatening injuries. The two semi-truck drivers were uninjured.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash in rural Allen County this morning. According to the Findlay Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, just before 10:30 a.m. Monday, first responders were called out to Redd Road north of U.S. 30 for a single-vehicle accident. A farming vehicle operated by 77-year-old Carl Dugger of Columbus Grove veered off the side of the road and rolled over, coming to a stop in a field.

The overpass has been closed since December 22nd when an over-height vehicle struck the underside of the bridge. The damaged section of the deck has been removed and it is safe for motorists on U.S. 30 traveling under Slabtown Road. While emergency repairs were made for safety concerns, the timeline to complete the replacement of the bridge deck over the westbound lanes of U.S. 30 depends on a specific beam.

First responders were called out to the entrance ramp of U.S. 30 west in Beaverdam for a semi that flipped over at around 7 p.m. The crash closed down the entrance ramp as well as U.S. 30 heading west. Injuries are unknown at this time, and the crash is under investigation.

The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. Sunday just west of Convoy Road. The Van Wert post of the State Highway Patrol says 43-year-old Brad Morris of Convoy was pronounced dead at the scene. Morris was eastbound in the westbound lane and hit a car driven by 25-year-old Luke Schimmoeller of Fort Wayne. He and a passenger were taken to Mercy Health-St. Rita's with serious injuries. The state patrol reports alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash which remains under investigation.

The call came in just before 10 p.m. that a semi had gone off the road after crossing into oncoming traffic in the westbound lanes, through a fence and landed in the pond west of Lincoln Highway. Troopers say the driver, 38-year-old Larry Choice of Fort Wayne was the only one inside and he was able to get out with the help of a nearby homeowner. He was treated at the scene for minor injuries by Delphos EMS.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says the accident happened just after 5 p.m. when a semi tractor-trailer apparently rear-ended an eastbound camper being pulled by a pickup truck. The crash causing the semi to roll over, and causing heavy damage to the camper.

A driver, who was allegedly intoxicated, was responsible for three separate car crashes, damaging five vehicles on U.S. 30 this afternoon. According to the Van Wert Post, the driver of a pickup truck, 63-year-old Michael Grundy of Indiana, was traveling eastbound on U.S. 30 and was swerving all over the road, and at times, in the wrong direction and in the grass median. When troopers got to the scene, the driver was missing a front tire and already struck two vehicles.
