For those trying to escape the heat, a trip to the Wapakoneta WaterPark may be what you need. The Wapakoneta WaterPark has brought the ocean to the park this summer. From giant floatables to ocean-themed vinyl floors, the new additions at the park have gained a lot of attention from local residents of all ages.

The celebration kicks off at 11am on Friday, May 24, 2024, marking the beginning of a revitalized swim season filled with exciting updates and affordable family enjoyment.
The Wapakoneta WaterPark is officially open for some summertime fun, with protocol in place to keep swimmers safe. The park is open for two different sessions a day, with time in between to allow staff to clean before letting guests back inside.
To cap off another season, the Wapakoneta Waterpark opened their gates to some special guests. The waterpark put on their annual Soggy Doggy Day, allowing local pups to take a dive and splash around to their heart's content in the pool before it closes for the year.
Swimmers celebrated like it was 1969 at the Wapakoneta WaterPark Monday afternoon. The water park put on a 60's Day event as part of the Apollo 11 50th anniversary. Music from the 1960's was playing and themed activities were available for people stopping by the water park to enjoy.
Families in Wapakoneta started off their Memorial Day weekend with a splash. The Wapakoneta WaterPark opened up for the summer season today. Families were allowed in from 10 am to noon and then the park was opened up to the rest of the public. While they will be open all summer to offer some relief from the heat, the park is most excited about the activities they'll have to celebrate the Summer Moon Festival.
