October 17, 2024, Press Release from the Findlay Police Department: On 10-17-24 at approximately 1230 hours, plain clothes units with the Findlay Police Department were conducting surveillance on a residence on SR 12 just west of Findlay. The resident of the home, Jeffrey Dahms, has been suspected of multiple commercial break-ins over the last several weeks. A warrant for his arrest had been issued.

Lima police released a photo of Takal L. Austin, 18 years old of Lima. A felony warrant for homicide has been issued for Austin. He is wanted in connection to the shooting death of 22-year-old Kobe Bryant on Thursday, December 29th. Bryant was found deceased in the yard at 643 East Fourth Street around 10 p.m. Lima Police Detective Sergeant Garlock says the investigation is progressing.

The Allen County Sheriff's Office has received multiple complaints of Allen County residents receiving phone calls from an individual claiming to be from the sheriff's office. The caller claims to have a warrant for the person who answers the phone, and then asks for private information and money for fines.

Governor Mike DeWine and Lt. Governor Jon Husted, who serves as the Director of InnovateOhio, announced the launch of the new electronic system for entering warrants and protection orders into state and national databases. DeWine ordered the development of the eWarrants technology after it was discovered that an untold number of Ohio arrest warrants and protection orders were slow to be or never entered into state and national law enforcement databases.

The indictment by the grand jury says that the incident happened on July 1st. Lima police officers served a warrant at Luckett's home the same day, where they found marijuana, $15,000 in cash, and three guns. As part of the plea deal, Luckett will surrender the cash and the firearms to the Lima Police Department. In exchange, there will be no drug charges brought against him.

The Lima Police Department responded to a call of an unresponsive four year old at 535 North Elizabeth Street on April 13th, 2021 at 2:08 P.M. The child was transported from the scene to a local area hospital, where lifesaving measures were attempted but were unsuccessful. The child was then pronounced deceased. The child was identified as Ma'Lay Dewitt.

Wesley Endicott was arrested on Tuesday at 21092 U.S. 224. The warrant was from Putnam County for two counts of aggravated felony possession of methamphetamine. Three other people were at the location of arrest and each of them was charged with obstructing official business a misdemeanor. Digital scales, multiple guns, a moderate amount of suspected meth, and drug paraphernalia were seized for evidence.
