DELPHOS, Ohio (WLIO) — The Allen East Mustangs extended their dominance over Jefferson, earning their eighth straight win in the series with a decisive performance Friday night at Stadium Park.
Jefferson’s defense gave fans early hope, as Chance Youngpeter forced a fumble and Nelson Miller recovered it to give the Wildcats their first possession of the night. But the offense couldn’t capitalize, and Allen East made them pay.
Quarterback Keagan Jones connected with Ethan Hershberger for a 69-yard touchdown, putting the Mustangs on the board first. Moments later, Miles McDorman added a rushing score out of the Wildcat formation to make it 13–0.
McDorman found the end zone again in the second half as Allen East pulled away to secure their second straight victory.
