ANNA, Ohio (WLIO) — Anna got back in the win column Friday night, storming back to beat Fort Recovery 28–24 in a Midwest Athletic Conference showdown on their home field.
Fort Recovery struck first in explosive fashion — Reece Wendel ripped off a 65-yard touchdown run on the opening play of the drive, and Breaker Jutte powered in another score to give the Indians a 14–0 lead.
Anna’s defense responded with a momentum changer — Nolan Wilt blew up a drive with a 14-yard sack to force a three-and-out.
That opened the door for the Rockets’ offense. Quarterback Logan Ziegenbusch found Brody Murray to move the chains, then handed off to Riley Brewer to punch in Anna’s first score. The Rockets completed the comeback and held on for a 28–24 win to snap their skid.
