PANDORA, Ohio (WLIO) — Arcadia handed Pandora-Gilboa its first Blanchard Valley Conference loss of the season, pulling away for a 54–43 win over the Rockets.
Pandora-Gilboa entered the matchup unbeaten in league play at 4-0, while Arcadia came in 3-2 in the BVC. The Redskins took control in the second half and never looked back.
Arcadia built its lead in the second quarter with crisp ball movement, highlighted by Tripp Brubaker finishing inside off a pocket pass to extend the advantage. Lamarion Tucker consistently drew multiple defenders and created opportunities for his teammates, including senior Blayne Colman, who knocked down a three to keep the offense rolling.
Tucker added to the lead with an up-and-under move in the lane, scoring through contact as Arcadia continued to dictate the pace.
Pandora-Gilboa tried to respond behind Chase Meyer, who converted an and-one in the paint, while Grady Kempf added a turnaround floater to cut into the deficit.
But the Redskins had an answer for every run. Late in the game, quick passing once again found Brubaker on the block, where he spun inside for an easy bucket to help seal the victory.
Arcadia closed out the 54–43 win, handing Pandora-Gilboa its first conference loss of the season.
