Countdown to Kickoff: Ada looks to build off strong BVC debut with new quarterback under center

ADA, Ohio — The Ada Bulldogs’ 2024 season ended in frustration, falling to Leipsic in the opening round of the playoffs just one week after beating the Vikings to close out the regular season.
Still, Ada’s debut campaign in the Blanchard Valley Conference was an impressive one. The Bulldogs went 8-3 overall and finished third in the league standings.
Now in his fifth season as head coach, Toby Smith returns five starters on both offense and defense. However, Ada will be replacing standout quarterback Levi Green, a Division VII All-Ohio Honorable Mention selection.
Junior Blake Zoladz will step in as the new starting quarterback and lead a young group that features just six seniors. With another year of BVC experience under their belt, the Bulldogs are hoping to take another step forward this fall.
