MINSTER, Ohio — After an 11–3 campaign in 2024, the Minster Wildcats are preparing for major changes in 2025.

Despite another strong year, two of Minster’s three losses came at the hands of eventual state champion Marion Local — the second straight season that storyline played out. But there’s still plenty to celebrate from last fall: the Wildcats never allowed more than 24 points in a game and scored 35 or more 10 different times.

That production was led by the now-graduated Brogan Stephey, Ohio’s Division VII Player of the Year. Stephey was one of three All-Ohio honorees on a senior-heavy team.

Now, with all 18 seniors from last year gone, Minster enters the new season with fresh faces at every position. The 2025 Wildcats feature just 16 total upperclassmen — eight juniors and eight seniors — and will rely on a new core to keep the program’s proud tradition going.
