ST. HENRY, Ohio (WLIO) — After a midseason turnaround in 2024, St. Henry enters the new football season with experience and momentum on its side.

The Redskins opened last fall at 2-4 before reeling off four straight wins to close the regular season at 6-4, doubling their victory total from the previous year. Their run ended with a loss to Minster in the regional quarterfinals, but it marked a successful first season under head coach Josh Werling.

Werling’s squad leaned on an aggressive, persistent identity in his debut year — a formula the program plans to build on in 2025. With 14 seniors returning, St. Henry expects its veteran leadership and the challenges of Midwest Athletic Conference competition to fuel another step forward.
