Delphos St. John’s pulls away from LCC in girls Holy War matchup

LIMA (WLIO) — Delphos St. John’s jumped out early and never looked back, rolling past Lima Central Catholic 53-22 in a rivalry girls basketball matchup in Lima.
The Blue Jays opened the game on a 9-0 run behind early baskets from Laine Flanagan and Lilly Klaus. LCC answered with scoring from Arionna Parrish and Corie Schnieders, who led the Thunderbirds with nine points.
St. John’s continued to separate as the game went on, with Megan Kerner scoring a game-high 13 points to help seal the win.
