DELPHOS, Ohio (WLIO) — Delphos St. John’s continued its dominant stretch against Bath, winning for the seventh time in the last eight meetings with an 88-65 victory.

The Blue Jays set the tone early. In the second quarter, Easton Elwer attacked the rim and finished at the cup for two of his 12 points, helping DSJ build a 33-17 lead.

Bath looked to respond behind Josiah Clark. The junior sliced through the defense and finished off the glass on his way to an 18-point performance. Clark later found Daniel Cole on the perimeter, and Cole knocked down the three to keep the Wildcats within striking distance. Logan Markley led Bath with 26 points at the end of the night.

But the Blue Jays had an answer every time.

Cameron Elwer turned defense into offense with a steal and finish in transition. The Furman commit poured in a game-high 37 points to keep St. John’s comfortably in front.

His younger brother, Andrew Elwer, added to the highlight reel with a smooth spin move and fall-away jumper. The junior finished with 20 points as the Blue Jays remained perfect on the season.

With the win, Delphos St. John’s improve to 19-0 on the season.
