LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — Several area softball teams kept their postseason hopes alive Saturday night during Division VII sectional final action.

Antwerp Archers ended Kalida Wildcats postseason run with a 27-5 victory. Antwerp advances to face Ayersville Pilots on Wednesday in a district semifinal in Defiance.

Continental Pirates cruised past Holgate Tigers 19-1 to move on in the tournament. Continental will now take on Putnam County League rival Miller City Wildcats on Wednesday in Defiance.

Upper Scioto Valley Rams defeated Pandora-Gilboa Rockets 12-2 to advance to the district semifinals. The Rams will face Hardin Northern Polar Bears on Wednesday in Kenton.

In an all-Blanchard Valley Conference matchup, Arcadia Redskins knocked off Leipsic Vikings 16-6. Arcadia advances to play Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains on Wednesday at Liberty-Benton.
