ELIDA — Elida picked up its second win of the season with a 24-7 victory over Ottawa-Glandorf on Friday night.
The Bulldogs built on a 21-7 lead in the third quarter when Jonan Snyder connected with senior Noah Jostpille for a first down. Moments later, Ottawa-Glandorf’s defense made a stand, but Elida’s Colton Rader came through with a line-drive field goal to extend the lead to 24-7.
Ottawa-Glandorf recovered two fumbles in the second half but was unable to convert either into points.
Elida improves its record to 2-2, while Ottawa-Glandorf remains in search of its first win.
