LIMA (WLIO) — A state champion from Lima Central Catholic is taking his wrestling career to the collegiate level.

Senior Antwain Adams officially signed his letter of intent Thursday to continue wrestling at the University of Findlay.

The state title winner made it official during a signing ceremony at Lima Central Catholic High School, where he reflected on the recruiting and commitment process that led him to the Oilers program.

Adams also spoke about why Findlay stood out as the right fit for him, while showing appreciation for his coaches and fellow state champion teammate Jordan Neal throughout the journey.

The future Oiler now prepares to continue his academic and athletic career at the next level after a standout run with the Thunderbirds program.
