FINDLAY — Leipsic is now alone atop the Blanchard Valley Conference volleyball standings after a 3-1 victory over Liberty-Benton on Thursday night.
The Vikings, ranked No. 2 in Division VII, improved to 16-1 overall and 8-0 in league play by taking down the Division V No. 17 Eagles, who entered the night unbeaten in conference action.

Karmyn Brough helped pace the offense with strong setting, including a key assist to Sydney Apple, who finished with seven kills. Fellow freshman Kya Brandt added 10 kills, while senior standout Danaysia Danzy powered the Vikings with a match-high 26 kills.
Liberty-Benton (13-5, 6-1 BVC) was led by junior Corra DeHart, who notched 11 kills to keep the Eagles within striking distance.
