ELIDA, Ohio (WLIO) — Lima Central Catholic continued its dominance over Elida on Saturday night, pulling away early and cruising to an 80–52 win at the Elida Fieldhouse.
The Bulldogs got off to a solid start in the opening quarter as senior Marcus Hill knocked down a midrange jumper to put Elida on the board. Hill finished with 13 points on the night. Moments later, Jonathan Payne jumped a passing lane and converted the steal into a layup, giving Elida back-to-back baskets.
Lima Central Catholic answered behind senior Jordan Priddy, who used a pump fake and euro-step to finish through contact for an and-one. Agent Zero led all scorers with 29 points.
Once LCC grabbed control, the momentum never shifted. Brady Parker added to the offensive surge by finding his way to the basket for two of his 15 points, helping the Thunderbirds steadily build their lead.
Lima Central Catholic stretched the margin throughout the second half and pulled away for the 28-point victory, extending its winning streak against Elida to nine straight games.
