LIMA — Lima Central Catholic defended its home floor with a sweep over Bath in an all-Lima volleyball matchup.
The Thunderbirds started strong behind senior Tatum Miller, who opened the first set with a block to give LCC a 4-0 lead. Miller later added to the attack, dropping in a well-placed spike for another point.
Bath responded with Aaliyah Young targeting the back corner to put the Wildcats on the board, but LCC continued to answer. Senior Carlina Kill delivered key points down the stretch to help the Thunderbirds maintain control.
LCC closed out the match in straight sets, winning 25-21, 25-15, 25-18.
