WAPAKONETA, Ohio (WLIO) — Wapakoneta High School graduate and Louisville tight end Grant Houser has entered the NCAA transfer portal.
A former four-star recruit, was the first Division I football signee from Wapakoneta since 1991. The 6-foot-6, 230-pound tight end did not see game action for the Cardinals during the 2025 season.
Houser has four years of eligibility remaining and will now look for a new college program ahead of next season.
The tight end signed with Louisville following a standout high school career that drew national recruiting attention, making his transfer decision one to watch as programs seek to add size and potential at the tight end position.
