ADA, Ohio (WLIO) — Ohio Northern kept its perfect Ohio Athletic Conference record intact on Saturday, steamrolling Capital 56–0 for its fifth straight victory.
The Polar Bears struck early in the first quarter when Louie Blasiole broke loose for a 27-yard run to set up prime field position. On the very next play, quarterback Sam Feldman fired a strike to Seth Borondy for a 17-yard touchdown to put ONU up 7–0.
Already up two scores later in the half, the Polar Bears continued to dominate up front. Feldman handed it off again to Blasiole, who powered ahead for another big gain to set up first and goal. Moments later, Blasiole finished the drive himself — barreling in from two yards out.
ONU closed the door from there, controlling all phases in a complete OAC blowout to improve to 5–1 on the season.
