PANDORA (WLIO) — Ottoville broke through for its first win of the season in emphatic fashion, rolling past Pandora-Gilboa 19-3 in five innings.
The Big Green built a 7-0 lead early and never looked back. Cruse Schroeder handled the work on the mound for Ottoville, tossing a complete game with five strikeouts.
Pandora-Gilboa got on the board in the first when Gavin Lee drove a run the other way with two outs. Grady Kempf recorded four strikeouts for the Rockets.
At the plate, Ottoville piled up 16 hits, led by Zach Hohlbein’s bases-clearing double into the gap in center. Hohlbein finished with seven RBIs in the win.
