LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — Temple Christian continued its strong conference play with a 60–51 win over Ridgemont on Friday night in North Western Catholic Conference action at the Covered Wagon.

The victory marked Temple Christian’s third win in its last four games, all in conference play. Ridgemont entered the matchup having won seven straight games against the Pioneers.

Temple Christian took control in the second half, leading by four when Quincy Seddelmeyer knocked down a long jumper to extend the advantage to two possessions.

Derek Schultz followed with a driving layup to make it 36–30, and the senior continued to lead the way for the Pioneers.

Schultz finished with a team-high 21 points, repeatedly finding openings in the lane to keep Temple Christian in front.

Ridgemont remained within striking distance behind Dawson Manns, who cut to the basket and scored to pull the Golden Gophers within four.

Harrison Reppart led all scorers with 31 points, including a spinning finish in the paint as the road team chipped away.

Temple Christian answered late when Nevan Long grabbed his own rebound and converted a three-point play. The senior finished with 13 points as the Pioneers closed out the nine-point win.
