Spencerville falls to Toledo Central Catholic

LIMA, OH (WLIO) - Toledo Central Catholic showed its Division III pedigree in the second game of the day, pulling away from Spencerville for a 74-49 victory.
The Bearcats trailed by double digits in the third quarter but continued to compete. Will Sensabaugh helped keep Spencerville within reach, knocking down a step-back jumper as the Bearcats looked to cut into the deficit.
Spencerville applied pressure on the defensive end, and Owen Sensabaugh capitalized on the other side, weaving through the defense with a Euro step before finishing with his left hand.
Owen Sensabaugh added another basket in transition moments later, giving him 13 points on the night as the Bearcats worked to climb back into the game.
The Sensabaugh connection continued, with Owen finding Will for a basket as Will Sensabaugh finished with a team-high 16 points.
Will Sensabaugh also scored Spencerville’s final basket of the game, driving to the rim for a layup.
Despite the effort, Central Catholic maintained control throughout and pulled away down the stretch, handing Spencerville a 74-49 loss.
