WAPAKONETA, Ohio (WLIO) — Wapakoneta wasted no time on Friday night, exploding for 28 first-quarter points on the way to a 41–10 win over Elida — clinching at least a share of their seventh straight Western Buckeye League championship.

Quarterback Caleb Moyer set the tone early, keeping it himself for the opening touchdown to give the Redskins a 7–0 lead. On the next drive, Moyer aired it out to Kaden Page, who hauled in a fingertip catch for a 51-yard score.

Wapak stayed aggressive — Moyer rolled out and delivered a fadeaway strike to Jarrett Mullen in the end zone to extend the lead even further. By the end of the first quarter, the Redskins had already hung 28 points on the Bulldogs.

Wapakoneta closed it out with authority to move one step closer to another outright WBL crown.
