WAPAKONETA, Ohio (WLIO) — Wapakoneta senior Kaden Page has officially signed to continue his football career at Ohio University.
The three-star wide receiver enjoyed a decorated career with the Redskins, earning four Western Buckeye League championships, four all-conference honors, and an All-Ohio honorable mention last season.
Page took a moment to thank the Wapakoneta community for its support and guidance throughout his high school career, as he looks ahead to the next chapter in college football.
Page’s commitment adds a talented playmaker to Ohio University’s roster as he prepares to step into the collegiate level next season.
"It's meant everything to me. This community is something that stands with the football program. It kind of just runs the town, and hard work has definitely paid off. It's a great accomplishment. It's really hard to explain just seeing all these guys right here, it means a lot to me, my family and everything. It's what pushed me and motivated me throughout these last four years. I just want to come in and put my head down and work from day one. I want to be on the field as a freshman, cement myself in the MAC," says Page.
