A busy Tuesday night for Lima Firefighters, after they’re called out to a pair of house fires. The L.F.D First called out to a House Fire at the corner of Brice and Woodward Avenue with heavy smoke and fire showing.
A Second Alarm was called in with additional trucks and manpower responding to the scene. At About 7:45, another call came in reporting a Dryer fire at 800 Tremont in Lima. An Engine was pulled from Brice Avenue to respond there. The Tremont fire was quickly contained, leaving Firefighters to vent smoke from the home. Initial indications are the Fire on Brice started at the rear of the home and caused heavy damage.
Fire investigators will return to the scene Wednesday to try and determine a cause. There are no injuries reported in either fire.
