TOLEDO, Ohio (WLIO) — A Bluffton man has been sentenced to 27 years in federal prison on child pornography charges.
Kris Shoemaker was sentenced in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio after being convicted on one count each of distribution of child pornography and receipt of child pornography.
The charges are connected to Kayla Miller of Lima, who pleaded guilty in federal court in December to sexual exploitation of a minor and distribution of child pornography. She has not yet been sentenced.
The FBI arrested Shoemaker and Miller in May 2025 after receiving a tip that led investigators to the pair sharing videos depicting young children in sexual situations.
