LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — The Lima-Allen County Master Gardeners are preparing to welcome the public to their annual plant sale, offering a wide variety of flowers and plants while supporting educational programs at the Lima-Allen County Children’s Garden.
The sale will take place Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Children’s Garden, located at 620 Market St. between the Lima Public Library and the Allen County Museum. Organizers say visitors will find a selection of perennial plants from the personal gardens of master gardeners, along with flowering annuals designed to add color and beauty to home landscapes.
Proceeds from the annual event help support the Children’s Garden and its various educational and community programs throughout the year. The Lima-Allen County Master Gardeners say the sale also gives gardening enthusiasts an opportunity to learn more about plants and gardening from experienced local growers while supporting a community resource.
