LIMA, OH (WLIO) - Music will fill the air tonight as a long-time tradition enters its eighth decade.
The Dances in Lincoln Park have been entertaining generations for years. Tonight, June 7th, starts its 82nd year of seeing people of all ages take to the dance floor. Tonight's entertainment is Al's Best Band, and there will be live bands throughout the summer. It's a great time to get out of the house and see old friends, make new friends, or spend quality time with your family.
"I think it's a good place for families to come. And if you're a grandpa or a grandma, bring your grandkids because that's a good time that you can take them out there and just stroll around the dance floor," said Mike Skinner, coordinator of the Lincoln Park dances.
The Dance in Lincoln Park series runs June 7th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. It will run every Friday night through August 9th.
