On Wednesday dozens of people gathered at the Wapak Theater for the premiere of “A Walk with Grace”. The night began with an introduction from Austin St. John, one of the main actors from the movie and former actor on "Power Rangers".
They also heard from the director, Nick Kellis. People even got the chance to get autographs signed by Austin St. John. This movie has been five years in the making. Kellis and his crew began filming two and a half years ago in the Lima-area. The film showcases some of the great things this area has to offer.
“It feels like it’s something earned and the people in this room - many of them are a part of it and the people are just here to show support in realizing that now the next job starts,” said Kellis.
“This whole movie has been wonderful because it’s all about our community, all about the region, and what we have here to offer,” said Jed Metzger, a local actor in "A Walk with Grace".
“To be able to have it in our hometown with people that I know and see everything in action and be there and learning and watching and being a part of it all was just an amazing experience,” said Payton Parlapiano, a local extra in "A Walk with Grace".
The movie will be released nationwide on November 5. It can be purchased on Amazon and several other outlets.
