Certified trainers by the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program covered topics such as how to apply for Medicare, key deadlines, Medicare costs, prescription drug coverage, and other important topics that people should know and need to consider when they become eligible for health insurance.

Judy Jacomet, Information and Referral Specialist of the Allen County Council on Aging, added, "There are so many options with health care. Even with Medicare, there are other things that go with it, and people have to know what's best for them in terms of cost, what it covers, and what medicines they take. All of that figures into what would be the best option to go along with their Medicare coverage."

If you're interested in setting up an individual meeting with the Council on Aging, you can reach them at their office location or number available on their website.
