LIMA, OH (WLIO) - The Allen County Democratic Party hosted their first "Donuts with Dems" on Sunday.
They are looking to host "Donuts with Dems" once a month.

The party is working on reaching out and helping people get registered before Ohio's October 7th deadline. They are looking to host "Donuts with Dems" once a month. "There's power in people who are working together for a common cause, and the group that's here has worked really hard, so this is really just a chance to relax and talk to each other. It's important to talk to like-minded people. Out of this meeting today, we're going to have fun, but we'll come up with some more plans for what we can do to promote our candidates," said local party chair Rochelle Twining.
The Allen County Democrats will also be hosting a Lunch and Learn on August 15th about school vouchers.
