The Allen County Museum has received a grant to help replace its HVAC system.
The money will be used to start the process of upgrading their HVAC system to help preserve their collection.
The $350,000 grant came from the National Endowment for the Humanities. Out of 55 organizations that applied, the Allen County Museum was one of 10 to get funding. The money will be used to start the process of upgrading their HVAC system to help preserve their collection.
The Allen County Museum is also getting ready for another "Night at the Museum" on October 17th from 6 to 8 p.m.
"This is the beginning of it; we still need to raise quite a bit of money to make the whole thing happen. But it is a two-year project, and so over the next two years we will begin the process of hopefully making everything better," says Dr. Christine Fowler Shearer, Director of the Allen County Museum.

The Allen County Museum is also getting ready for another "Night at the Museum" on October 17th from 6 to 8 p.m. As people walk around the museum, they will hear living history characters tell their stories.
