Working to reduce second hand smoke is one of the primary goals of the Partnerships to Improve Community Health Grant.
Activate Allen County is administering the grant and is looking for partners to make their offices non-smoking. Their staff can assist businesses and organizations in creating a tobacco-free campus.
There are nearly a dozen workplaces that have already become smoke-free in Allen County, but Activate says they are hoping for more to sign up.
