ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - Working together to make a difference is the goal of the Allen Lima Leadership Youth Program.
They worked on team building by working together to create a balloon tower as tall as they could get it without it falling over.
Friday, 32 students representing 10 Allen County schools started their journey through the program that is under the umbrella of the Lima Allen County Chamber of Commerce. Students are excited about being part of the leadership program.
"It got to meet all these new people from different schools. We've come together as a group of collective and hopefully, we can make an impact on our community," said Michael Quatman, Lima Central Catholic.
"I think it's a really good opportunity for everybody and to meet new people and to learn about other people," commented Leah Miller, Perry High School.
The tallest tower reached 8 feet and 2 and a half inches tall.
