Kids got the chance to find eggs filled with a variety of goodies — including four lucky golden eggs that contained a $100 bank account. In addition to the egg hunt, the event featured clothing and food giveaways, along with a couple of bikes raffled off to attendees.

"It doesn't take just me, it's take a lot of people helping out with this. We're going to the bank to help the kids make bank accounts. You know, that's what excites me more. Each kid got $100 in the golden eggs and $400 there. And you know, it shows that people care. You know, we try to teach our kids how to save money, how to do financials while they young right now so they can be able to do this when they get older," said Derry Glenn, Lima 6th Ward councilman.

The four lucky golden-egg winners will be helped in opening their bank accounts in the coming weeks.
