LIMA, OHIO (WLIO) - Allen County Commissioners introduced the new Ohio State University Extension Educator for the county, Garth McDorman, during a recent meeting. McDorman, a native of Allen County, is excited to assist local residents with various agricultural and environmental concerns.
McDorman’s role will not be limited to supporting farmers. He aims to provide guidance to anyone interested in maintaining and improving environmental quality and becoming better stewards of the planet. With his expertise, he hopes to offer practical solutions to current issues facing the community.
“I want to establish an open line of communication between me and the public,” McDorman said. “If you have any questions related to agriculture or natural resources, I want people to reach out. I want to engage with the community and bring their concerns back to the county, becoming a trusted source of information.”
