LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — For more than a decade, the Bridging the Gap Health & Wellness Expo has provided vital health information to underserved individuals and families. Now in its 11th year, the event continues its mission of improving access to health care for those who fall through the gaps in vital resources.
Held at Lima Senior High School, the expo will feature health screenings, informational exhibits, and demonstrations aimed at promoting health equity for the mind, body, and soul.

“We really have enjoyed bringing this information to the community because, again, people don’t know what they don’t know,” said Cheryl Nagy, coordinator of the Bridging the Gap Health & Wellness Expo. “The health screenings have literally saved lives. We’ve had a couple of times at Bridging the Gap where somebody had very high blood pressure or a cardiac issue, and we sent them to a local hospital where they got the care they needed immediately.”
The expo is scheduled for Saturday, April 5, from 10 a.m. to noon at Lima Senior High School.
