LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) – The Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business of the Year award honors companies that have experienced consistent growth, become community staples, and made time to give back. Here are this year’s finalists.
Tomorrow’s Technology Today has experienced steady growth over the past two decades by staying focused on evolving customer needs and delivering innovative solutions. The company also educates the community about the importance of cybersecurity and managed technology services through newsletters, blogs, and social media. In addition, it partners with the Tri Star Cybersecurity program to support the next generation of industry professionals. Tomorrow’s Technology Today also collaborates with other companies to recycle old computer equipment and toner and ink cartridges.
BIGGBY Coffee operates three locations in Lima, helping residents get their morning caffeine fix or enjoy a specialty drink any time of day. Over the last 16 years, the company has sold millions of cups of coffee and donated gallons more to nonprofit, school, and community organizations. BIGGBY also supports youth athletics and the Lima Memorial Foundation, which helps fund cutting-edge technology for the hospital. The business continues to explore new opportunities and locations for expansion.
Back on Track Therapy and Wellness has grown significantly since its founding 10 years ago. What began with a yoga studio space in a gym has expanded into a thriving practice that now serves 800 to 900 patients each month. The practice helps people struggling with physical limitations or pain maintain independence, mobility, and comfort. Back on Track also sponsors community events such as the “Flying Angel 5K” and the Healthy Kids Running Series. This year, the business plans to open a new location in Sidney and expand its Lima location to meet growing demand.
These are the finalists for the Small Business of the Year award. The winner will be announced at the Chamber Gala on May 8th.
