LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) – The City of Lima is doing some housecleaning with its property maintenance code to create a more streamlined process.
Lima City Council recently approved changes to some of the language, fees, and penalties within the code. The updates are part of the city’s ongoing commitment to being proactive, fair, and effective in enforcing property standards by simplifying the fee structures.
Carmillia Zion, Director of the Department of Housing and Neighborhoods, said the update "It aims to allow for the city's ability to collect easily and also to enforce out those fees effectively as well."
