LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - City officials have issued a snow emergency that requires residents to follow a specific way of parking after a snowfall.
You are requested to park on even and odd sides of the road that matches the day of the week. Tuesday will be the odd side of the street and Wednesday will be the even side of the street.
"We can't clean your street if the cars are in the way," said Warner Roach, public works deputy director for the city of Lima. "We we had a couple incidents this morning where we went to clean some streets and we had to back all the way out because we just couldn't get down."
If you don't follow this you can be ticketed and towed. Lima police were called out today to handle several situations where cars should be moved.
