LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - Downtown Lima Inc. invited everyone to build a bouquet with mom.
Participating businesses had exclusive gifts, treats or discounts for all of the mothers that came through.
They put together a trail for participants to walk downtown while collecting flowers at each stop. It was a great opportunity to treat your mom while exploring what downtown Lima has to offer.
"I'm really hoping that we're able to show off all the fabulous development that we've had in downtown Lima. There's a lot of folks who maybe haven't been down here in a couple years to see all the new shops we have, all of the new buildings, all of the progress, the new streetscape that's happening on Central Avenue. There's a lot happening, and I'm just really excited to show that off today," said Cricket Rodriguez, executive director with Downtown Lima Inc.
Downtown Lima Inc. plans to do this again next year in hopes of turning it into an annual event.
