February 20, 2025, Press Release from the Elida Local School District: Elida High School Theater announces “Shrek the Musical” performances this March 13-16, 2025.
"Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek...." And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a lifechanging journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you've got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there's one on hand... and his name is Shrek.
Performances are Thursday, Friday and Saturday March 13-15 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, March 16 at 4:00 pm in the High School Auditorium. Tickets are $12 adults, $6 children Pre-K- 12th grade. Tickets are available online now at elida.booktix.com. Tickets will be sold at the High School Activities Office beginning February 24 and sold at the door as available.
