LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — One of the most popular competitions at the Allen County Fair brought in 1,200 entries for a single show.
Competitors in the third and final flower show were busy putting the finishing touches on their entries before placing them on display.
The show featured artistic arrangements, specimens and plants from both adult and junior competitors.
Just next door, competitors took part in the Growing Tablescape competition, which also included a TV-tray division this year.
This year's themes included a kitchen centerpiece and backyard barbecue, giving competitors an opportunity to showcase their creativity through their arrangements and displays.
The flower show and tablescape competition are among the many exhibits featured at the Allen County Fair, highlighting the work and creativity of participants of all ages.
