LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — Families in the area are invited to help their children build healthy habits during the annual Healthy Kids Day hosted by the Lima Family YMCA this weekend.

The event, set for Saturday, April 18, will feature a morning full of games, activities and educational opportunities focused on promoting healthy lifestyles for children. Organizers say the goal is to encourage kids to stay active while teaching them the importance of proper nutrition and overall wellness.

Local organizations will also be on hand to provide parents with resources and information to help guide their children toward healthier, happier lives.
