LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - Area high school students doing some exploring at Ohio State Lima as they start to think about their future.
Friday was Buckeye Preview Day on campus. Interested students were able to tour the university learning about the available degree programs and the basics of financial aid, talking to academic advisors, and taking a look at the various resources available.
Campus leaders say a day like this is important, giving students the chance to see if they can see themselves at Ohio State Lima.

"One of the really big, important things is that I often tell students college is a lot like buying a car; you wouldn't buy it without test driving it," says Zachary Welly, Regional Admissions Coordinator, Ohio State Lima. "A day like today is how you test drive a college. You get to see our campus to make sure you can vision yourself being a student here with us."
Welly adds an application fee waiver is available until December 1st for those planning to apply. The waiver code is RCW2026 and waives the $60 application fee. After December 1st, applicants will have to pay the fee. To start your application, visit Ohio State Lima's website:Â lima.osu.edu/future-students/apply.
