LIMA, Ohio (WLIO)- The Allen County Fair is ending on a high note tonight with a live performance from the Lima Area Concert Band.
The group took the grandstand stage to give fairgoers a free concert, wrapping up the nine-day event at the Allen County Fairgrounds.

“We're performing before the fireworks here tonight. We've got a lot of patriotic and march music just to keep the crowd livened up,” said John R. Hill, conductor of the Lima Area Concert Band. “It's the first time out here in several years, so we look forward to performing another concert this year.”
The band’s final concert of the year is set for Sept. 13 at the Lima Civic Center. Titled Heroes and Villains, the show will feature music from The Lone Ranger, Pirates of the Caribbean, Wicked, and more. Tickets are available now on their website.
