LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) – The Lima Kiwanis Club is continuing its mission of making a positive impact in the lives of children in Allen County.
The club recently made donations to three local nonprofit organizations that serve children: Camp Roberts, Family Promise, and Saving Grace Farm Ministry. Throughout the year, the Kiwanis hold several fundraisers to raise money, which is then returned to the community through donations.
“The money that we raise from our fundraisers, we have three fundraisers. We take that money and we divide it up among different organizations, and all of them impact the lives of children,” said Bev Beery, community outreach chair for the Lima Kiwanis.
