LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — Getting around the city of Lima is beginning to look a little different.

The city has launched a wayfinding program with the installation of new signs at each of Lima’s parks. The signage is part of a four-phase project designed to help residents and visitors navigate to key destinations throughout the city. Phase two is set to begin this fall and will feature directional signs in the downtown area.

“You will be seeing those once you get into our downtown area,” said Amber Martin, coordinator of workforce and small business development. “They’ll be pointing to attractions like the courthouse, the amphitheater, parking lots — there to help navigate our city. We do have new things coming into town, and we want to make sure that our guests who are visiting us can find them successfully.”
