LIMA, Ohio - Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Thrift Shop is saying “thank you” to the community in a big way during its Customer Appreciation Week. During the week of August 19th – 23rd, shoppers are invited to enjoy fun activities, giveaways, and special discounts at the Thrift Shop, located at 528 West North Street in Lima.
The week’s activities include:
- Raffle Baskets: Patrons earn entries by completing a shop scavenger hunt, making a purchase, or snapping a photo at the store’s decorated photo booth.
- Daily Scratch-Off Discounts: The first 20 customers each day will receive a scratch-off ticket revealing savings up to 50% off their purchase.
- Photo Booth Fun: Shoppers are encouraged to take pictures and post to social media using a dedicated event hashtag (to be announced soon!).
The highlight of the week happens on Thursday, August 21 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., when the Thrift Shop will host a food truck onsite serving hot dog meals, alongside door prizes, a photo wall, and plenty of thrift shop finds.
“Whether you’re a longtime shopper or new to the Thrift Shop, this is the perfect week to stop by, take part in some fun, and find unique treasures,” said Sara Heitmeyer, Director of Volunteer Services. “It’s our way of saying thank you to the community for their continued support.”
Proceeds from the Thrift Shop directly benefit programs and services at Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center, helping to further support patient care across the region.
